10 Bridge Solution for Antalya Traffic

The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Uraloğlu, stated, “With a total length of 2,617 meters for 10 bridges, we will improve Antalya’s transportation infrastructure.” Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, announced that construction works have begun on intersection projects to ease traffic in Antalya. He reminded that the construction tender for the Sanayi, Uncalı, Duraliler, and Kepezüstü intersections along the route connecting Antalya Airport to the west of Antalya was held on November 19, 2024. Minister Uraloğlu also provided information about the ongoing projects, mentioning that they plan to construct 3 bridges with a total length of 332 meters within the scope of the Kepezüstü Interchange. Uraloğlu mentioned, “We are continuing with the displacement works at the Kepezüstü Bridge Intersection, and have started the construction of service roads in these sections.” TWO BRIDGES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Within the scope of the Uncalı Bridge Intersection, Uraloğlu noted they will build 2 bridges with a total length of 660 meters and stated, “In the Sanayi Bridge Intersection, we plan to construct 2 bridges with a total length of 720 meters. We have also begun the construction of the service road here. Under the Duraliler Bridge Intersection, we are continuing fore pile manufacturing for the construction of 3 bridges with a total length of 905 meters. Out of the total 172 fore piles, 146 have been completed. We are continuing the foundation and elevation works for the bridges.” EASING TRAFFIC CONGESTION Uraloğlu mentioned that when the works in these intersections are completed, they will significantly reduce the increased traffic congestion during the summer months. He stated, “With the construction of 4 intersections and a total length of 2,617 meters for 10 bridges, we will make a significant improvement in Antalya’s transportation infrastructure. This will provide a more comfortable and safe transportation experience for both our citizens and tourists visiting our country.”
