2025 Billionaires Revealed: Top Unchanged, 32 Business People from Turkey Listed

The US-based business magazine Forbes has released the 2025 global billionaires list.
This year, the list, comprising a total of 3,028 business people, was topped by American entrepreneur Elon Musk with a fortune of 342 billion dollars, including companies like SpaceX and Tesla.
The founder of the social media platform Facebook, American businessman Mark Zuckerberg, ranked 2nd with a fortune of 216 billion dollars, while the founder of the e-commerce platform Amazon, American Jeff Bezos, claimed the 3rd spot with a worth of 215 billion dollars.
Larry Ellison, the co-founder and chairman of the software giant Oracle, became the world’s 4th richest person with a fortune of 192 billion dollars. Bernard Arnault, the executive chairman of LVMH Holding, a conglomerate of 75 fashion and cosmetics brands, including Louis Vuitton and Sephora, secured the 5th position with a fortune of 178 billion dollars.
Renowned as one of the most successful investors of all time, Warren Buffet claimed the 6th position with a fortune of 154 billion dollars. Larry Page, a board member and major shareholder of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, landed on the 7th spot with a fortune of 144 billion dollars, while another board member and major shareholder of Alphabet, Sergey Brin, secured the 8th spot with a wealth of 138 billion dollars.
The founder of fashion brands like Zara and Bershka, Spanish businessman Amancio Ortega, ranked 9th with a fortune of 124 billion dollars, while the former CEO of the tech giant Microsoft, Steve Ballmer, became the world’s 10th richest person with a fortune of 118 billion dollars.
FROM TURKEY: 32 PEOPLE
This year, Turkey managed to get 32 billionaires on the list of a total of 3,028 business people. Yıldız Holding Chairman Murat Ülker stood out as the richest Turk on the list, ranking as the 639th richest person globally with a wealth of 5.5 billion dollars. Selçuk Bayraktar, the Chairman of Baykar Technology, secured the 1,947th spot with a fortune of 1.8 billion dollars, while Haluk Bayraktar, the General Manager of Baykar Technology, claimed the 2,110th spot with a wealth of 1.6 billion dollars.
MOST BILLIONAIRES FROM THE US
The increase in the number of names on the Forbes billionaires list compared to the previous year, which saw an increase of 247 individuals, was noteworthy. The total value of the world’s richest people’s assets reached 16.1 trillion dollars. The US led with 902 billionaires, followed by China and Hong Kong with 516 billionaires and India with 205 billionaires.
