50 million euros grant for local development! Applications starting in June

A total of 50 million euros in grants will be provided for local development under the IPARD III Program. Applications for the program will begin in June. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced the publication of the 6th Call for Proposals of the IPARD III Program, which will provide a total of 50 million euros in grants, 100% funded to the local action groups in all 81 provinces. Yumaklı shared information about the call on his social media account. Emphasizing that they continue to support innovative solutions to mobilize local potential, especially women and youth in rural areas, Yumaklı stated that strategies are determined and implemented for the development of regions through local action groups formed by various actors ranging from farmers to non-governmental organizations, women, and youth. Yumaklı pointed out that rural people come together with the LEADER approach and strengthen locally, revealing that so far 328 million lira in grant support has been provided to local action groups under the IPARD Program. Minister Yumaklı commented, “As of today, with the 6th Call for Proposals for Implementing Local Development Strategies-The LEADER Approach, we will provide a total of 50 million euros in support, fully funded.” APPLICATIONS START IN JUNE In Yumaklı’s announcement, information about the applications was included. Accordingly, the call for proposals covers the IPARD Program for the 2021-2027 period. Applications for the call will start to be accepted from 2 June at 09.00 at the provincial coordination offices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the province where the project will be implemented. The Online Project Application System will be closed on 25 June at 18.00. The deadline for applications has been set as 27 June at 18.00.
