The Ministry of Commerce announced that 67 companies were fined a total of 93 million TL in administrative penalties during e-commerce inspections in the last 6 months.

By scrutinizing the grievances in the e-commerce market, the Ministry of Commerce imposed administrative fines totaling 93 million TL on 67 companies.

It was reported that a total of 40.3 million TL in administrative fines were imposed on 18 companies as a result of the inspections launched in October and completed in the same year.

The statement included the following remarks:

“Furthermore, in the first three months of 2025 (January-March), inspections and investigations were carried out regarding distance contracts involving consumers in the electronic commerce sector, resulting in a total of 53.4 million TL in administrative fines imposed on 49 companies, with inspections still ongoing for 19 companies.”
