7 out of 10 Investors in Turkey Choose to Borrow

Interest in cryptocurrency, stock market, and fund investments has been increasing in Turkey in recent years. However, most investors are choosing to invest by borrowing money. Blue-collar workers are leaning more towards cryptocurrency, while white-collar workers usually prefer to stay in individual retirement plans. In recent years, there has been a rise in investors’ interest in the stock market, cryptocurrency, and funds. A study revealed the changes in investor behaviors. Young people are turning to popular tools like cryptocurrency and stocks. Blue-collar workers are engaging in cryptocurrency investments, while white-collar workers often prefer to stick with individual retirement plans. It is mentioned that demand for cryptocurrency is higher among men, while women tend to focus on fund investments. According to the research, 1 out of 4 people do not feel financially secure. Experienced investors act with composure, while new investors aim for short-term gains. Seventy percent of investors are investing by borrowing money. Those in the high-income group manage the balance between debt and savings in a healthier way. As income levels decrease, investors tend to take higher risks for investments.
