The first high-tech solar car in India, named “RAY,” has been developed by a 45-year-old math teacher named Bilal Ahmad Mir, with plans to release it by June 2025. Bilal, who started working on this project in 2012, mentioned that the first prototype emerged in 2022. Inspired by a mathematical concept where a ray has a starting point but no end, he named the car ‘Ray’ after spending more than 20 lakh rupees on the project.
