Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that they would work on the holiday bonuses for retirees, stating that it is still too early to mention a specific amount.

Expectations are high for the bonuses to be raised to a range of 4,500 to 5,000 liras.

Retirement bonuses had increased to 3,000 liras in 2024 with a 50% increment.

Bonuses are deposited into retirees’ accounts twice a year, during the Ramadan and Eid al-Adha holidays.

This year, the Ramadan holiday will fall on March 30th, while Eid al-Adha will be on June 6th.

It is expected for the bonuses to be deposited into accounts before March 30th.
