Minister Şimşek to Meet Investors in Munich

Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek will meet with investors in Munich to evaluate the Turkish economy. Minister Şimşek, who traveled to the city of Munich in Germany to attend the Munich Security Conference and meet with investors, has been engaging in intensive discussions. According to information obtained from the ministry, Şimşek’s Munich meetings, which started yesterday, will be completed on February 15th. In Germany for the Munich Security Conference, Şimşek also participated in the “No Money for Terror” Conference hosted by the German Ministry of Finance. Meeting with his German counterpart Jörg Kukies, Şimşek discussed bilateral relations, cooperation with the European Union, and joint investment opportunities in third countries. After yesterday’s official meetings, Minister Şimşek will also evaluate the Turkish economy with investors hosted by Deutsche Bank today, in addition to his participation in the Munich Security Conference. Furthermore, he will meet with a large group of Turkish businessmen to deliver a comprehensive presentation on Turkey’s economic program.
