When will the scrap vehicle incentive be introduced, will it be?

The subject of the scrap vehicle incentive, which has been on the agenda of car owners for a while, has become clearer. After a proposal submitted to the Turkish Parliament, the issue of the scrap vehicle incentive came to the agenda. The topic that has long been on the public agenda received a statement from the AK Party. So, when will the scrap vehicle incentive be introduced, will it be?
The current status of the scrap vehicle incentive aimed at renewing vehicles aged 25 and above has become a topic of curiosity. Owners of vehicles from the year 2000 and older are wondering whether they will have the opportunity to purchase a new vehicle produced in Turkey without paying the Special Consumption Tax by scrapping their vehicles. WILL THE SCRAP VEHICLE INCENTIVE BE INTRODUCED? The AK Party administration announced that there is no regulation on the agenda that offers a Special Consumption Tax exemption for scrap vehicles. There is also no legislation by the government on this matter.
As information comes from official institutions or individuals regarding this, we will include it in our news. APPLICATION OF THE SCRAP VEHICLE INCENTIVE MHP Kayseri Deputy Ismail Özdemir recently submitted a bill to the Parliament proposing a discount on the Special Consumption Tax for those who scrap their vehicles and have their new vehicles manufactured in Turkey, in order to renew vehicles aged 25 and above and contribute to the economy. The scrap vehicle incentive was first implemented in Turkey in 2003. This led to the removal of vehicles above a certain age from the market and an increase in sales of new vehicles. This application ended in 2004. From October 4, 2010, to December 31, 2011, a second scrap incentive was initiated. Unlike the first incentive, the type of motor vehicle was limited, and vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons were included within the scope.
