Tragic News from Munich: Mother and 2-Year-Old Child Lose Their Lives

In Munich, Germany, during a protest by Verdi labor union members, a car drove into the crowd, resulting in the death of a 2-year-old girl and her mother who were injured in the attack.

Following the incident where an Afghan migrant in Munich drove into a crowd during the Verdi labor union members’ protest, a new statement has been released.

The German police reported that the 2-year-old girl and her mother who were injured in the attack three days ago lost their lives.

28 PEOPLE WERE INJURED IN THE ATTACK

The attack took place on Seidlstrasse Street on Thursday at 10:30 am local time during the Verdi labor union members’ protest, leaving 28 people injured.

After the attack, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed deep shock and sorrow over the deaths of the little child and the woman succumbing to their injuries in Munich. He stated, “The unimaginable pain experienced by their loved ones. My deepest condolences go to them. The whole country is mourning with them.”

AFGHAN REFUGEE COMMITTED THE ATTACK

German media shared that the driver of the car was named Farhad N., born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 2001, and arrived in Germany at the end of 2016.

It was reported that Farhad N., whose asylum application was rejected by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, later obtained a suspension of deportation order and lived in Munich.
