Andy Paul, CEO of Corsair, announced that the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 will be coming to the PC platform in early 2026.

GTA 6, developed by Rockstar Games, will be released in the last quarter of this year. Initially available on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 platforms, the game will be experienced on computers at a later date. Although PC gamers are frustrated by this situation, they may not have to wait as long as they think. Andy Paul, CEO of Corsair, known for its gaming computers and accessories, predicted during the Fourth Quarter Earnings Conference of 2024 that he believes GTA 6 will be available on consoles in the fall of 2025 and on the PC platform at the beginning of 2026. Paul emphasized that GTA 6, described as the “most anticipated and highest hardware requirements game,” will boost sales of PC components and peripherals.

Although Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, confirmed that GTA 6 will come to the PC platform, no exact release date was given. The previous game in the series, GTA 5, surpassed 210 million units sold worldwide, making it the second best-selling video game of all time. Take-Two hopes to exceed the 300 million sales record set by Minecraft with GTA 6.

Industry analysts predict that GTA 6 will sell 38 million copies in its first year, earning approximately $2.7 billion. It is expected to generate over $1 billion in revenue from pre-orders alone before its release. Grand Theft Auto 5 is estimated to have earned $10 billion in revenue since its release in 2013, making it the highest-grossing game in this regard. Experts claim that with updates and an online option, GTA 6 will be played for many years and easily surpass the $10 billion revenue milestone.
