Microsoft Announces $700 Million Investment in Poland

Microsoft has announced that it will make an additional $700 million investment in Poland to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity, in collaboration with the Polish Armed Forces. Microsoft President Brad Smith and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk held a joint press conference regarding the matter.

Smith mentioned that the investment will be the second phase of the $1 billion data center project announced in 2020 and opened in 2023.

No further details about the investment were provided. The data center in question was built to provide cloud services to businesses and public institutions in Poland.
