Increase in Marriage Loan Applications following “If you love, get married” Share

In a year, 56,256 couples applied for a marriage loan. The Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that there was an increase in marriage loan applications after the “If you love, get married, I think” share on February 14th. The first applications to the Family and Youth Fund were started to be received from couples affected by earthquakes as of February 15, 2024. Within the scope of this fund, couples are provided with an interest-free loan support of 150,000 lira with a term of 48 months, including a 2-year grace period. According to a statement from the Ministry of Family and Social Services, following the “If you love, get married, I think” share made from the ministry’s social media account on February 14th, there was an increase in applications. Meanwhile, Minister Göktaş congratulated the earthquake-affected couple who used the loan from the fund and welcomed their first baby.
