In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index started the day flat at 9,764.55 points. At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose to 9,764.55 points, an increase of 0.88 points and 0.01 percent compared to the previous close. The banking index and holding index gained 0.36 percent. Among the sector indices, the financial leasing factoring had the highest gain with 0.57 percent, while trade had the highest loss with 1.52 percent. In the domestic market, the BIST 100 index, which followed a sales-dominated trend yesterday in Borsa Istanbul, ended the day at 9,763.67 points with a loss of 1.55 percent. In the global markets, a mixed trend stands out due to US President Donald Trump’s tariff threats and uncertainties regarding the roadmap the US Federal Reserve will follow in the future. Analysts pointed out that today, the international investment position and weekly money and bank statistics will be monitored domestically, and producer price index (PPI) in Germany, Philadelphia Fed manufacturing index, and leading indicators in the USA will be followed in the foreign markets. From a technical perspective, they noted that the resistance levels for the BIST 100 index are at 9,800 and 9,900, while the support levels are at 9,700 and 9,600 points.
