Disaster on Birthday: Balloon Explosion Burns Woman’s Face!

In Vietnam, during a birthday celebration, a woman’s face was burned when the hydrogen balloon in her hand exploded. The young woman, who was taken to receive treatment, stated, “I couldn’t watch the footage of the incident for a long time due to the fear I experienced. Let this unfortunate incident be a lesson to others.”
The birthday celebration of a woman named Giang in the capital city of Hanoi, Vietnam, ended on a bad note.
During Giang’s birthday celebration, the candles from the cake she was holding accidentally touched the hydrogen-filled balloon in her other hand, causing an explosion.
Following the incident, it was determined that the woman had suffered second-degree burns on her face, hands, and arms.
“WISH MY FEAR SERVES AS A LESSON”
Giang, who is undergoing treatment, said, “I couldn’t bring myself to watch the footage of the incident for a long time due to the fear I experienced. If I had known, I wouldn’t have put myself in such danger. I hope this unfortunate incident serves as a lesson to others.”
Experts warn that although hydrogen gas is cheaper than helium, it is highly flammable and poses a risk of explosion when it comes into contact with fire, therefore, hydrogen balloons should not be used in enclosed spaces or for entertainment purposes.
