According to the posts, Şimşek met with the German Finance Minister Jörg Kukies, Italian Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti, President of the EU Council and Polish Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, and French Minister of Economy, Finance, and Industry Eric Lombard. During the meetings, Şimşek and his counterparts discussed bilateral relations, Turkey-EU relations, the importance of regional integration, mutual investment, trade issues, and cooperation opportunities in third countries.
