Following the live broadcast debate between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump at the White House, the Embassy of Ukraine in Ankara shared a photo of Zelensky with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

President Trump and President Zelensky had a public dispute in front of millions before the rare mineral agreement expected to be signed at the White House.

During the debate, Trump responded to Zelensky’s comments about being alone by saying, “You were not alone. Through our stupid president, we gave you 350 billion dollars. We gave you military equipment. If we didn’t have military equipment, this war would have ended in 2 weeks.” Following the debate, the expected joint press conference did not take place, and the agreement was not signed. Zelensky then left the White House and canceled his programs in Washington.
After these developments, the Embassy of Ukraine in Ankara shared a photo of Erdogan and Zelensky together. While no explanation was provided with the shared photo, a picture was selected where Zelensky was seen under the umbrella held by Erdogan.
