Trump’s reporter attacks Zelenski: Why no suit?

During the chaotic meeting in the US, pro-Trump White House reporter Brian Glenn mocked Zelenski’s attire, asking him to wear a suit instead of a sweater.
The meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader Volodimir Zelenski at the White House to sign a valuable mineral deal was overshadowed by a dispute between the two leaders. While chaos ensued, pro-Trump White House reporter Brian Glenn mocked the Ukrainian leader’s attire.
Glenn was part of the White House group during the Trump-Zelenski argument. Zelenski, who usually wore military uniforms, was dressed in a black sweater with a Ukrainian trident on it. Glenn asked Zelenski, “Why aren’t you wearing a suit? You are at the highest office in this country and you refuse to wear a suit. Do you own a suit?” The Ukrainian leader responded to these questions by saying, “I will wear one after this war is over. Maybe something like yours, maybe something better.”
Throughout the four years of the war, Zelenski, including diplomatic meetings, mostly wore a green sweater.
