During her remarks on the meeting with President Donald Trump, Zaharova emphasized Zelenski’s refusal of peace and obsession with the continuation of war. She described Zelenski’s visit to Washington as a “complete diplomatic failure” for Kiev.

In her initial statement yesterday, Zaharova referred to the fact that “it’s a miracle that Trump and Vance didn’t smack Zelenski.”
