New Support of 36 Billion Liras Coming for Export

Minister of Trade Bolat announced that a new guarantee package worth 36 billion liras for exporters will be completed very soon. Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat reported that new guarantee support has been prepared to provide financing ease for exporters. Emphasizing that the Ministry, with the Export Credit Bank of Turkey (IGE) as a significant stakeholder in the export action plan and resources from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, is preparing new guarantee support packages for exporters, Bolat stated, “Our exporters will soon benefit from new guarantee supports for Turkish lira and foreign currency loans once the work is completed.” Bolat, in a social media post, provided details about the support as follows: “Through a guarantee support corresponding to a total credit volume of 36 billion liras, exporters will be able to meet their working capital needs and receive guarantee support for digital transformation projects through cooperation with the Small and Medium Industry Development Organization (KOSGEB) under our Ministry of Industry and Technology. We thank the IGE, which has provided over 100 billion liras in credit guarantees to our exporters since its establishment, and all relevant institutions, especially our Ministry of Treasury and Finance, for working in coordination towards our export goals. We will continue to work at full speed to further increase our exports.”
