Travel restrictions lifted by Assad regime in Syria

The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced the lifting of travel bans imposed on Syrians during the ousted Baath regime. In this context, 5,164,440 travel bans were revoked. According to a written statement issued on the Telegram channel of the Syrian Ministry of Interior, the 5,164,440 travel ban notifications issued by the army, security forces, National Security Office, and the Baath Party during the ousted Baath regime were canceled. These notifications were issued targeting individuals who were subject to detention, application, compulsory, and reserve military service decisions during the regime. The Immigration and Passport Administration has been tasked with implementing the relevant decision.
