ASELSAN shared new images of the GÖKBERK Mobile Laser Weapon System. Integrated onto a 6×6 mobile platform, the GÖKBERK Mobile Laser Weapon System is designed as a component of the Steel Dome Air Defense System. GÖKBERK can physically destroy targets using domestic laser sources and also effectively neutralize unmanned aerial vehicles by paralyzing their electromagnetic systems with an electronic jammer developed by ASELSAN. Thanks to the cooler designed according to the 24/7 working principle, GÖKBERK can perform uninterrupted shots for a long time. The system, which creates maximum impact with minimum power, stands out as a cost-effective solution. In the shared test images, the electro-optical systems on Gökberk successfully detected the drone, automatically tracked it, and carried out its destruction.
