Reopening of Aleppo Airport after Maintenance Works

After three months of maintenance works, Aleppo International Airport has reopened. The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of Aleppo, the Director of Airlines, and prominent figures of Aleppo. The airport had to suspend its services earlier due to being destructed by elements of the toppled regime and the terrorist organization PKK/YPG. Thanks to the diligent efforts of the Civil Aviation Authority, the airport reopened today after the completion of the three-month maintenance works. An aircraft from Damascus International Airport was welcomed with a ceremony at the airport, and a flight from Aleppo to Damascus was conducted.
