The expropriation of some immovables for energy projects in various cities in Turkey will be carried out urgently. Presidential decisions regarding urgent expropriation in the energy sector have been published in the Official Gazette. According to these decisions, certain immovables in Eskişehir and Aydın will be urgently expropriated by the Turkey Electricity Transmission Corporation General Directorate for the “154 kV Acıbadem Eskişehir GES TM-Eskişehir OSB TM Energy Transmission Line Project” and “154 kV Dampınar RES TM-Nezihe Beren JES TM Energy Transmission Line Project” respectively, with ownership rights for the pole locations and easement rights for the conductor swing clearance. Furthermore, it has been decided that certain immovables in Konya and Niğde will be urgently expropriated by the Turkey Electricity Distribution Corporation General Directorate for the ownership rights of electricity distribution facility locations and easement rights for the line safety areas, for the purpose of constructing energy transmission lines.
