Determined Penalty for Youngster Planning School Massacre After Killing His Family

A young man in England who killed three family members and planned a school massacre has been sentenced to at least 49 years in prison.

Desiring to become the ‘most famous school attacker of the 21st century’ by planning a school assault, 19-year-old Nicholas Prosper, who murdered three family members, was sentenced to a minimum of 49 years in prison. Prosper, who committed the murders at the age of 18, killed his mother Juliana Falcon (48), sister Giselle (13), and brother Kyle (16) with a hunting rifle in their home in Luton, north of London in September 2024. It was determined that his brother Kyle received over 100 stab wounds. Judge Bobbie Cheema-Grubb, announcing Prosper’s sentence, stated, “Your aim was to have a bad reputation. You wanted to be remembered as the most famous school attacker of the 21st century even after your death. The number of deaths you aimed for was 34; one more than the massacre that occurred at Virginia Tech in 2007, which is recorded as the deadliest school attack in the United States.”

In his statement to the police, Prosper revealed that he had planned to kill two teachers alongside four and five-year-old students at a nearby elementary school where he had previously studied. Prosper mentioned that his plan was to carry out the attack after killing his mom and siblings in their sleep, followed by suicide. His goal was to organize a more deadly attack than the Sandy Hook and Virginia Tech massacres in the United States. It was noted that Prosper placed a novel titled ‘How to Kill Your Family’ on his mother’s body after killing her. According to evidence presented in court, Prosper drew diagrams showing the layout of classrooms at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Luton and left notes saying ‘kill them all.’ It was also mentioned that he reenacted the murders in the kitchen before the attack and recorded himself on video. “YOU ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, YOU MAY NEVER BE RELEASED”

Described by experts as showing symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Prosper was sentenced to a minimum of 49 years in prison. Taking into account his previous time served in prison, it was announced that he would remain in prison for 48 years and 177 days. The judge also said to Prosper, “You are extremely dangerous and you may never be released.” Additionally, it was emphasized that Prosper refused to leave his cell to delay the court session and showed no remorse. “LIVING ENTIRELY IN THE ONLINE WORLD”

Information presented to the court about Prosper, who was expelled from school in 2023, indicated that he was “practically devoid of social contact in the real world, living entirely in an online world.” When his internet history was analyzed, it was found that he had a strong interest in “famous murderers around the world, perpetrators of mass school attacks, and rapists.” “A PIECE OF MY SOUL DIED”

During his statement to the court, the defendant’s father Ray Prosper expressed, “The day I received this horrific news, a piece of my soul also died. This is a situation that resulted in loss for everyone. We lost four family members.”
