The strict immigration policies of the Trump administration in the United States have citizens from different countries on edge. Most recently, a Canadian politician warned that Canadians and Europeans are also at risk of being deported. The Trump administration is sending immigrants it deems guilty to a mega prison in El Salvador.

Canadian MP Charlie Angus cautioned Canadians and Europeans living in the US. Following the deportation of 238 Venezuelan citizens to the mega prison in El Salvador, it was suggested that they were also at risk. Angus stated, “We know Trump can do this, there is no reason why a Canadian, a German, or someone from the UK couldn’t be taken and deported to a detention camp in El Salvador.”

“CANADA WON’T KISS THAT THUG’S RING” A Canadian politician advocating for not taking a single step back, stated, “Canada must stand firm during these times. I call on people not to travel to the US, to continue the boycott, to stay strong because Canada will never kiss that thug’s ring.”

“A COMPLETE CIRCUS” Angus is one of the names who frequently criticizes Trump severely. Most recently, he criticized Trump’s broad tariffs and the resulting economic turmoil, stating, “It’s becoming a complete circus.” The Canadian member of parliament also criticized Trump’s decision to normalize relations with Russia amid the ongoing war situation in Ukraine.
