Ukrainian President Zelensky met with Ukrainian soldiers stationed in Donetsk amidst intense conflicts. He visited the Donetsk region where the clashes are ongoing, according to a statement from the Ukrainian Presidency. Zelensky inspected the Pokrovsk city direction where Ukrainian soldiers are deployed amidst heavy fighting related to the Russia-Ukraine war. While examining the Pokrovsk tactical group command center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Zelensky received updates on the current situation on the front line. After inspecting the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) units, he also met with soldiers from the UAV units affiliated with the 59th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian army. During his visit, Zelensky awarded some of the soldiers serving at the visited locations with state medals.
