Giant Sinkhole on Highway Swallows Motorcycle in South Korea

In South Korea, a sudden collapse on a highway created a giant sinkhole measuring 20 meters in diameter and 30 meters deep, swallowing a motorcycle. While the motorcyclist remains missing, a car driver was injured. The collapse occurred at 18:28 yesterday evening on a highway in the Gangdong district. A moving motorcycle fell into the huge sinkhole that formed. A passing car narrowly escaped falling into the sinkhole. The female driver of the car, who barely avoided falling into the sinkhole, was taken to the hospital injured, while search efforts continue for the motorcyclist.
