Texas Hit by Floods: 3 Fatalities Reported

Intense rainfall in the southern region of Texas has resulted in the loss of lives of 3 individuals and the rescue of over 200 people.
It was reported that Harlingen city received over 21 inches of rainfall, with the intensified downpour leading to severe floods.
Officials announced that over 200 individuals have been rescued so far and at least 200 more are awaiting evacuation.
During a press conference held yesterday afternoon, Harlingen Mayor Norma Sepulveda stated, “This was a historic and challenging event for the city. However, Harlingen is resilient. We have faced difficulties before and we will get through this together.”
