Americans Dislike Trump’s Policies

In the United States, there was weak support for President Trump’s stance on foreign trade policies. According to a survey, 60% of participants opposed Trump’s policies. A survey conducted by the Associated Press (AP)-NORC Public Relations Research Center from March 20-24 included 1229 adult American participants. The participants evaluated Trump’s attitudes on various policies such as irregular migration, the economy, trade, the Russia-Ukraine War, and the Israel-Palestine issue, in addition to his presidency. Results showed that 49% of participants supported Trump’s irregular migration policies, while 50% did not. Regarding Trump’s stance on the Israel-Palestine issue, 54% of participants did not approve, while 44% did. Meanwhile, while various countries reacted to Trump’s tariff decisions, 60% of participants did not approve of the U.S. President’s stance in trade negotiations with other countries, while 38% did. Moreover, 56% of participants indicated disapproval of Trump’s attitude towards the Russia-Ukraine War, while 41% supported it. The survey results revealed that 56% of participants overall did not approve of Trump’s presidency, while 42% did.
