In order to increase the declining young population rate in Turkey, birth aid will be provided for children born on January 1, 2025, and after. So, how can you apply for child aid? What are the application requirements for the 5,000 TL child aid? As part of the 2025 Year of Family, the birth aid program launched to support families has been formalized. With the new regulation, special incentives and financial support will be provided for children born in 2025. A one-time payment of 5,000 TL will be granted for the first child, 1,500 TL per month until the child reaches the age of 5 (including the sixtieth month) for the second child, and 5,000 TL per month until the child reaches the age of 5 (including the sixtieth month) for the third and subsequent children. Applications are to be submitted to the Provincial Directorates of Family and Social Services or Social Service Centers. The application for Birth Aid must be completed in person, by registered mail with return receipt, or by courier after the child is registered in the Child Identification System (KPS) at the relevant Population Directorate following the live birth, and the “Birth Aid Application Form” is completed and signed without any missing information.
