Civil servants receiving an increase based on inflation difference and collective agreement, and retirees whose increases will be determined according to inflation difference, are calculating the percentage of increase they will receive in July 2025 with the announcement of the third inflation data for 2025. So, how much was the 3-month inflation difference? Here are the salary increase rates for civil servants and retirees based on the 3-month inflation difference. According to the data shared by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), the monthly inflation for March was announced as 2.46 percent. Therefore, SSI and Bağ-Kur retirees have already earned 10.06 percent inflation difference for March 2025. The inflation difference that civil servants will receive was announced as 3.83 percent. Since this increase will reflect on the salaries in July 2025, it will be calculated cumulatively based on the monthly inflation rate announced every month. In addition to the collective agreement increase, civil servants and civil servant retirees receive an inflation difference. Based on the collective agreement increase, civil servants and civil servant retirees will receive the second increase of 2025 in July. By the end of March, this percentage has exceeded 3.83 percent. The net percentage will be determined after the announcement of the inflation data for April, May, and June.
