ABD-Iran Nuclear Deal Negotiations to Continue in Rome

According to the US press, the nuclear deal negotiations between Washington and Tehran delegations will continue in Rome. The Omani delegation will also be present during the talks to be held on Saturday. It is noted that this time the parties will be in the same room.
The nuclear deal negotiations between the US and Iran will continue in Rome, the capital of Italy, on Saturday. The claim was reported on the American news site Axios. Although the second round of negotiations will be held in Rome, Omani officials will be at the table.
THEY WILL BE IN THE SAME ROOM THIS TIME It is said that this time, instead of Washington and Tehran delegations being in separate rooms, they may be in the same room along with the Omani delegation. During the weekend meeting, the American side was represented by President Donald Trump’s Middle East Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and the Iranian side by Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi.
NEGOTIATIONS IN OMAN
The talks in the Omani capital Muscat started indirectly. It was announced that the parties met face to face briefly at the end of the negotiations. According to Axios, the face-to-face meeting lasted for 45 minutes.
In the first round of talks, the Tehran administration reminded President Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the nuclear deal.
The Washington administration, on the other hand, conveyed its suspicions about Iran’s nuclear program. The American side is asking the Iranian government to reduce their stock of 60%-enriched uranium enough to make 6 nuclear bombs. The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson reiterated yesterday that Iran’s goal is the lifting of sanctions. Witkoff, the head of the American delegation, briefed Trump on the negotiations yesterday. The second person he informed was Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer.
ISRAEL APPROACHES WITH SUSPICION The Tel Aviv administration views the negotiations between the US and Iran with suspicion.
During Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the White House, Trump announced that the military option against Iran would be on the table if the negotiations fail.
