A new era begins in second-hand vehicle and real estate listings

The electronic listing verification system for both real estate and vehicle listings is now being implemented.
The Ministry of Commerce had put the electronic listing verification system into effect in February. The regulation required dealers to have an authorization document to post listings, and they were given a two-month grace period until April 1 to obtain these authorization documents.
GRACE PERIOD OF TWO MONTHS HAS ENDED
The two-month transition period has come to an end. A new era begins in vehicle listings. The requirement for authorization documents for dealers will only start from April for vehicles of model years 2023, 2024, and 2025. The requirement for all vehicle listings will be in effect as of June 2.
SALES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED THROUGH LISTING SITES
An authorization document is not required for individuals who want to sell their own vehicles. The sale of the vehicle can also be done by first and second-degree relatives of the vehicle owner. Apart from these, anyone else will not be able to sell the vehicle through listing sites. The electronic listing verification system had already come into effect for real estate listings as well. The system, which became mandatory for rental listings on January 1, will also apply to sales listings as of April 7. From this date onwards, only individuals authorized by the property owners through e-Government will be able to post sales listings.
