A new era in banks: Palladium joins the precious metals

With the change made in the Regulation on the Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency, banks are now allowed to facilitate the buying and selling of palladium alongside gold, silver, and platinum.
The amendment to the Regulation on the Decree No. 32 Regarding the Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance was published in the Official Gazette. Following its publication, palladium was added to the list of precious metals that banks can deal with, including gold, silver, and platinum.
The wording in various articles of the regulation where “silver and platinum” were mentioned has been updated to now include “silver, platinum, and palladium.”
