According to the statement, it was stated that “he collected information such as the locations of ships belonging to the Russian navy in Novorossiysk’s Tsemes Bay, military units, and air bases, as well as their protection methods, and shared this information with Ukrainian special forces representatives” in line with the instructions he received from superiors.

In another case mentioned in the Prosecutor’s statement, it was reported that 56-year-old Natalia Shulga was sentenced to 15 years in prison in June 2024 for detonating a power line in Enerhodar.

Novorossiysk, which is targeted in the attacks in Ukraine, along with its base, is one of the important ports of the Black Sea.
