Allegation of Limit on Market Usage with Meal Cards: Ministry Sources Deny

Claims emerged that there is a limit on using meal cards at markets. Sources from the Treasury and Finance Ministry denied these claims. Reports in the media stated that a daily limit of 158 liras and a ceiling of 3,476 liras will be applied to meal cards at markets. Ministry sources announced that there has never been a 158 lira limit in tax legislation. It was stated that previous regulations regarding the issue were not related to the use of cards by employees, but rather technical matters related to employer tax payments. It was also noted that there are no monthly or daily limits on purchases.
