Claims have surfaced stating that American billionaire Elon Musk is set to leave his position within the administration of US President Donald Trump. According to reports in the American press, Trump has informed his cabinet that Musk will be stepping down.

Elon Musk, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the administration of President Donald Trump, is rumored to be leaving his post. Sources, whose names were not disclosed, reported that Trump informed cabinet members and other close associates of Musk’s departure and allegedly reached a mutual agreement with Musk.

Musk was in charge of leading efforts to reduce federal spending and restructure various government agencies. Known for playing critical roles in accelerating private sector integration in defense and space projects, Musk is said to have made this decision to focus on the demanding schedules within his companies. The White House has not issued a statement regarding these allegations.

“He Has a Big Company to Run”

When asked about the duration of Musk’s tenure and the fate of DOGE, Trump responded, “I think he’s a great guy, but he’s got a big company to run, so at some point, he’ll go back to doing that.” Despite this, Trump emphasized his intention to keep Musk in his role for as long as possible. Regarding the continuation of DOGE’s operations, Trump did not provide a definitive answer, stating, “I can’t tell you that. What I can say is, the people working with DOGE are mostly secretaries, meaning heads of various agencies, and they’ve learned a lot. I think it will end at some point, but they’ve received a great education and are doing a great job.”
