An American and two Russians launched into space: Soyuz MS-27 sets off

The Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft, carrying a NASA astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts, was launched from Kazakhstan. The space mission is expected to last for 8 months. Departing from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft carrying an American NASA astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts was launched to head to the International Space Station. Decorated to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, the spacecraft lifted off at 10:47 local time. Footage of the spacecraft was released by Russia’s Roscosmos space agency. Jonny Kim, Sergey Ryzhikov, and Alexey Zubritsky are expected to stay in the mission for 8 months.
