The period for submitting the annual income tax returns related to last year’s earnings has begun. The declarations can be submitted until April 2nd.

According to the announcement on the Revenue Administration’s (GIB) website, taxpayers can submit their income tax returns until Wednesday, April 2nd. Taxpayers who are taxed based on their commercial, agricultural, and professional activities can send their income tax declarations for the year 2024 electronically. Taxpayers whose income consists of only wages, rent, capital gains, or other types of income can easily and securely submit their annual income tax returns through the Digital Tax Office (Ready Declaration System).

THE SECOND INSTALLMENT MUST BE PAID BY JULY 31ST
The first installment of income tax accrued on the annual income tax returns from the past year, along with stamp duty, must be paid by April 2nd, and the second installment by July 31st. Additionally, guides, brochures, and infographics have been prepared and made available to taxpayers to assist them in submitting their annual income tax returns.
