Apple’s 18-year feature is disappearing into history: iPhone SE 4 images leaked

Apple is preparing to introduce the iPhone SE 4, which will be the cheapest smartphone model. Along with this device, the American tech giant will also bid farewell to its 18-year-old feature. Here are the leaked images of the SE4, which will have the most affordable price tag among iPhone models…Apple is expected to unveil its new iPhone SE model today.
The images of the device, which will be released with a lower price tag and mid-range features, have also been leaked. The new iPhone SE will no longer have a Home button.
In the first iPhone model released in 2007, the Home button, along with the touch screen, made the device’s usage extremely intuitive and practical.
With the iPhone 5S released in 2012, the Home button was equipped with Touch ID (fingerprint sensor).
However, with the introduction of the iPhone X in 2017, Apple removed the Home button and transitioned to the Face ID face recognition system. Apple included both Touch ID and the Home button in the iPhone SE (2022) model for the last time.
However, the new iPhone SE (2025) model will only come with Face ID and will not include a fingerprint sensor. Thus, the Home button will officially disappear into history.
However, Apple is planning to bring back a design element from the past.
In the new iPhone SE model, there will be a notch in the screen for the Face ID sensors.
It is expected that Apple will return to its old “balken-notch” (bar notch) design instead of the Dynamic Island.
