Attempted escape of Turkish gang members responsible for bloody attack: Cell raided, plan disrupted!

In a gang war that resulted in the death of six Turks allegedly affiliated with the leader of a criminal organization named Barış Boyun in Athens, Greece, 20 prisoners – 12 of whom are Turkish nationals – were arrested for attempting to escape from prison.
According to Greek newspaper Proto Thema, the prisoners were caught while planning their escape from Korydallos Prison. Acting on a tip-off, Greek police raided the cell where the prisoners were located early last Saturday morning. During the search, a Glock brand assassination weapon and a large number of bullets were found. It was noted that the seized weapon was hidden inside an electric stove. The police determined that the prisoners had planned to take the guards hostage and incite a riot to escape from the prison.
Athens, the capital of Greece, witnessed a bloody confrontation on September 13, 2023.
Six Turkish citizens allegedly connected to Barış Boyun, who is currently incarcerated in Italy, were ambushed while driving a car with fake German plates.
In the armed attack, six people lost their lives.
Among the deceased were Doruk B. and Oğuzhan H., who were reportedly evading police surveillance in Istanbul months before the attack.
These two individuals were suspected to be close associates of the crime organization leader Barış Boyun, known for being involved in a series of armed actions in Turkey and living as a fugitive in Italy.
