Under the project, young couples taking the first step towards building a family are offered a 48-month interest-free loan of 150,000 TL with a grace period of 2 years for repayment. More than 50,000 applications were made for marriage loans. A maternity aid of 5,000 TL will be provided for children born in 2025 and thereafter throughout a period of 60 months. A one-time payment of 5,000 TL will be given for the first child, followed by 1,500 TL per month until the child reaches 5 years old (including the sixtieth month) for the second child, and a monthly payment of 5,000 TL until the child reaches 5 years old (including the sixtieth month) for the third and subsequent children. Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced to Türkiye Gazetesi newspaper that they will announce the discounts they have made with special companies on home appliances and furniture for young people who want to start a family. Göktaş stated that the protocols with the leading companies in the sector are ready and announced that they will be revealed in April. Efforts are underway on the Togg support for families buying their first car. Families with 3 or more children will be eligible for the First Car Domestic Automobile Family Support Program. Under the program, it is planned to provide long-term financing options compatible with the purchasing power of low-income groups. While it is noted that the Togg support is in its final stages, the date when it will be put into effect has not been announced yet. Discounts have been offered to families and newlyweds on train travels. Families can travel with a 15% discount for a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 11 tickets. For couples getting married in 2025, a ‘Newlywed Fare’ will be implemented. With this application, newlywed couples can purchase train tickets with a 50% discount. Citizens can benefit from the discounted fares starting from March 8th. The discount rate for families has been increased in intercity bus companies. Companies can apply a maximum discount rate of 40% when at least 2 and up to 4 passengers with the same surname or proven to be a family wish to travel on the same mode of transport and route. Within the scope of the Family Year, Turkish Airlines has launched a 15% discount on domestic flights. The application will be valid until the end of 2025. A discount of up to 40% will be applied on Mondays and Wednesdays for families in movie theaters that are members of the Cinema Theater Investors Association (SİSAY) throughout 2025.
