In Queensland, Australia, channels hit by Cyclone Alfred have been spotted with sharks. Videos shared on social media show sharks swimming in murky floodwaters.

According to The Independent, Cyclone Alfred continues to create adverse weather conditions in Australia.

As the storm continues to bring heavy rainfall, residents of Gold Coast captured footage of sharks swimming in the channels.

Footage shared by citizens on social media has been viewed by thousands. In the video, sharks can be seen navigating through murky floodwaters.

The rising floodwater levels have pushed marine life further inland, causing disruptions. ALFRED CYCLONE AND ITS IMPACTS On March 6th, Tropical Cyclone Alfred in Australia resulted in school closures in some states, and public transport services were suspended. “Alfred” was predicted to be the first cyclone to pass near Australia’s most populous city, Brisbane, since “Zoe” hit the Gold Coast region in 1974, causing floods.
