The body of the 23-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been officially confirmed, was found at the bottom of a cliff near the town of Morzine in the Portes du Soleil region on Monday. Prosecutor Xavier Goux-Thiercelin confirmed the death yesterday and local police forces are conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances of the skier’s death. According to local media reports, it is believed that the man died after accidentally falling from the cliff on February 16th.
