Car buried in snow retrieved three days later
Individuals in a car traveling from Trabzon to Bayburt got stranded on the road due to heavy snowfall. Rescuers reached the area and saved the stranded individuals, but the car buried in snow was retrieved three days later.
The individuals in the car traveling from Trabzon to Bayburt got stranded in the Dumlu village plateau of Aydıntepe district three days ago due to snow and blizzard.
Reporting their situation to emergency services (112) for help, the stranded individuals were rescued by the gendarmerie and AFAD teams.
SUDDEN SNOWFALL
Due to the sudden snowfall, the teams could not remove the vehicle from its location and, as a precaution in case the road was closed by snow, they safely brought the citizens to the city center.
CAR RETRIEVED FROM UNDER THE SNOW THREE DAYS LATER
The intermittent snowfall over the past three days completely covered the car stuck in snow.
After the snow stopped, teams sent to the area retrieved the car from under tons of snow on the third day.
