On the Bolu section of the TEM Highway, a moving SUV burst into flames. The vehicle turned into a blazing fireball, causing significant damage, with the moment of the fire captured on cell phone cameras.

Around noon at the Bolu section of the TEM Highway, near the town of Gerede, a license plate-unidentified SUV started emitting smoke from its engine compartment before suddenly catching fire.

The driver pulled the vehicle over to the emergency lane and jumped out. The flames quickly grew and engulfed the entire vehicle.

Upon notification, the fire department and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was brought under control and extinguished by the teams’ intervention. The SUV became unusable due to the fire.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
