It has been revealed that cats have taken over the house where US President Trump lived until the age of 4, and the abandoned property was sold at a significant discount. President Donald Trump lived in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood in New York, Queens, until he was four years old. However, the house, which was previously sold for $2.14 million in 2017, was sold this time for much less, at $828,445. According to attorney and Chinese real estate agent Michael X. Tang, the house remained empty after the previous sale and was overrun by street cats. Recent footage taken during a visit showed the front door of the house open and the wallpaper peeled off. A worker cleaning up the accumulated trash in the house and garden also told a neighbor that the new owner of the house was “someone who likes to buy and sell homes.” The New York Post, citing a source familiar with the sale, wrote that the seller “just needed money.” The two-story house was built by Trump’s father, real estate developer Fred C. Trump, in 1940. Another neighbor described the house as “a beautiful home, abandoned and neglected. No one was living in it, and it was not being used.”
