Following the burst for reasons yet unknown, the neighborhood was flooded. As temperatures dropped to -21 degrees, the water flooding the streets froze, resulting in a spectacle of frozen vehicles trapped in the ice. After the incident on February 17th, municipal workers were reported to be working to resolve the issue. The sight of vehicles trapped in the frozen water was viewed by over 35,000 people on social media.
