Police officials in the USA announced on April 7th that seven Florida residents were arrested as part of an ongoing international investigation into child sexual abuse. The gang consists of 10 members, including a Turkish individual.

All suspects are described as members of a network accused of possessing and distributing child pornography. Florida Attorney James Uthmeier, while providing information on the investigation, mentioned that the individuals in question bought images through the social media platform TikTok. It is claimed that the leader of the gang lived in Adana, Turkey.

MILLIONS OF PHOTOS AND VIDEOS: An arrest warrant was issued for Mehmet B., who was described as the ringleader of the gang, and efforts have started for his extradition to Florida. Within the scope of the investigation, one undercover agent managed to purchase a 6.7-terabyte child pornography collection consisting of approximately 1.2 million videos and photos.

PHOTOS OF MISSING CHILDREN: Rita Peters, who conducts the prosecution investigation, stated that the children in the videos and photos are names of children who are trafficking victims and are listed in the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Law enforcement has begun sending subpoenas to numerous companies to create a document trail. The information provided by Peters also raised doubts that the shared photos or videos may involve missing children in Turkey. Clues of missing children can be found from these images. A 400-year prison sentence is being sought for Mehmet B., while the other members of the gang will face a 40-year prison sentence request.
